Wendell Community Center Tot Time

Another mom told me about the Wendell Community Center Tot time and I am here to share it with you! On Tuesdays and Thursdays the Wendell Community Center (located at 601 W 3rd St. Wendell, NC) has tot time for ages 0-5 for free from 10:30a – 12:30p. We went both days this past week and it was a lot of fun. It is nothing fancy, just a gym with some toys in one corner for small children (hula hoops, various balls, a couple of bouncy horses). Sullivan had a blast running all over the place. On Tuesday we were there around 11:30a and there were no other kids there. On Thursday we went closer to 11a and there were 3 other kids there, they left after a while, and another kid arrived before we left. It is always nice to have other kids to play with and hopefully learn some social skills.

I found it to be an easy, safe, get-out-of-the-house, free, indoor activity. We will certainly frequent it.

There is also a large, nice-looking outdoor park/play area that I have made a mental note to check out once the weather cools down more. They also have a dog park nearby if you need an exercise area for your 4-legged children.
