Glamlite Burger Palette Review
The Burger palette is here! Glamlite is easily becoming one of my top favorite makeup brands right now. They are killing it with their food inspired makeup launches right now. It all started with the now famous Pizza Palette. My sister purchased it for me after discovering how desperately I wanted it. It is epic. I was blown away by everything from the packaging to the quality of the eye shadows. They have now followed it up with the Burger palette.
It is equally as impressive. Let’s start with the packaging. The box opens to reveal the palette tucked inside a red and white checkered bag, very reminiscent of a fast food burger.
This small detail goes above and beyond in my opinion. The palette packaging itself is a soft padding for the outer “bun”. It feels really neat and is unlike any other palette I own. I absolutely love it.
Similar to the Pizza palette, the eye shadows are really good quality and highly pigmented. They also have such fun food names- various pizza toppings and burger toppings.
However if you love neutrals these may not be for you. They consist of darker colors and bright colors as you can see from the photos. I do feel like the type of person who is attracted to the uniqueness of the concept and the packaging is someone who isn’t afraid of bright colors. They both have large mirrors inside as well. I always appreciate when palettes come with mirrors. Both palettes are priced at $40. I found a coupon code which essentially got me the equivalent of free shipping. I also pre-ordered several weeks ago. I do recommend pre-ordering if possible (for future launches) for 2 reasons: First, there is a good chance of them selling out especially as the brand gains popularity (they do seem to restock later though if you miss out). Second, they offer an incentive for early pre-orders. I received a $5 gift card and a 15% off coupon. My sister received those plus their new “fry-lashes” for free. Bonus! I find the price point to be very reasonable for what you are getting. I would actually expect it to cost more based on the quality and the special packaging. So, “what’s next?” you ask? A Taco palette of course! Pictures and swatches are already circulating and pre-ordering is available now. It will have 15 different eye shadows in a taco-shaped palette for $38.
